"When i first started working with gary I used the typical short game technique of ball back of stance, with hands forward to deloft the club, narrow stance and set open to the target line. Gary showed me the linear approach technique and i was impressed with what he showed me through his demonstrations. "Just wanted to say a big thank you for the help you gave me with my bunker play. I qualified for the British Seniors Open at Walton Heath and was lying 4th after day 1 and 17th at the halfway stage. The highlight for me was following a poor tee shot into the left hand greenside bunker at the par 3 17th. As you know this is not my favourite discipline and as I walked down towards the green I was fully aware of the packed stand behind the green and the TV cameras. To make things worse, when I finally settled into the bunker there were 2 guys lying 10 feet behind me with a further TV camera !! I focused solely on the linear approach and probably made the best up and down in my golfing career, all thanks to you!! It was such a great experience and has given me the appetite and desire for some more of the same. PS despite a poor 3rd round I made a 30 yard up and down from the RH greenside trap at the 16th , hitting the bunker shot to 3 feet, with probably 200 people around the green!! It feels so good." "I played in this week's midweek medal. I was level after the fifth, finished the front nine, 3 over, but net 2 under. Par on 10 and then a triple bogey on 11.
