Experience the new Linear Approach technique to short game which Gary describes as 'simple, logical and highly effective'. Gary presents with Professionals and Coaches at their home venues, to introduce to golfers of all standards, short game techniques used by tour players around the world.
The highly interactive seminars are either half or full day and with Gary's unique presenting style, include explanation and discussion about the Linear Approach and why historic short game technique is far more difficult and contradictory. There is also an informative but fun, practical session on the short game area, with demonstration, group and 121 coaching. Gary explains how introducing skills tests and challenges together with coaching aids will fast track short game improvement.
World No 1, Luke Donald, says, "I play the ball forward ...I’m exposing the bounce....that part of the club will skid along the ground through impact... The club should skid, not dig at impact. The skidding action gives you room for error.”
And Bob Vokey, designer of the Titleist Vokey Wedge, says, "Another reason that many amateurs don't use the bounce of wedges properly is that they push their hands infront of the ball at address. This decreases the loft of the wedge and causes them to get too steep. For me your hands should be neutral at address, allowing the loft of the club and the bounce to do the job it was designed to do."
